Every year, December 5th marks the official start of judgment for the girls and boys around the globe. Krampusnacht is the night that St. Nick's counterpart makes his rounds to collect the naughty children. Those that are eaten are the lucky ones, for the others are subjected to torture and beatings before being carried away to hell in Krampus' basket on his back. How have you been this year?

I have long been a fan of Krampus and my last interpretation many years ago, based on J.B. Monge's work is much more light hearted. This year, I wanted to create one based on the movie of the same name, mixed with splashes of traditional folklore as well as other depictions in film and print.

Hope you enjoy!
